A New Bundle of Joy - Everybody Art Challenge No. 78

This week over at Everybody Art Challenge we have a great sketch for you to follow. A work colleague became a Grandmother for the first time recently and so I made her a card to celebrate. As usual I have used a digital stamp from Digital Pencil Too. I have used pale green bazzill card together with Nana's Nursery Baby Boy paper and a small piece of Crafty Individuals Springtime paper. I finished the card with lace, organza ribbon, two buttons and a cute teddy bear charm. The congratulations tag pulls out to reveal a personal message. As always the image is coloured with copics. Tri Fold Card & Two Challenges

I have made this card for my Niece. Her birthday is not until December so I am well ahead of myself for a change. It's called a tri fold card and although looks complicated is very easy. It must be it has only taken me a couple of evenings to finish. To make the shape: 1. Cut a piece of 12x12 card across and 5.5" down 2. Score at 2", 4", 8" and 10" 3. Cut two lines horizontally 1.5" down from the longest outside edge (top and bottom) 4. Now bend the score lines using mountain and valley folds (1st fold up, 2nd down, 3rd up and 4th down) 5. Decorate however you please. More in depth instructions with pictures are available on the splitcoaststampers website. I am going to enter this design for two challenge blogs. The first being Mos Digital Challenge No. 4. The spec was to create a card using any folds other than a standard A2 fold and to use one of Mo's digital stamps. This isn't difficult as all of Mo's designs are excellent and a dream to colour. The 2nd challenge is week 7 photo inspiration over at the Basic Grey Challenge Blog. See the picture below. Truly Scrumptious Challenge No. 15 with an Indian Summer Theme

At long last I have been able to make a card and boy did I enjoy it. This time it's for a work colleagues birthday and will be given by the team. I have used the sketch over at Truly Scrumptious (see side bar for link) with the added theme of Indian Summer. To make the card I have used: Paper - Basic Grey's Ambrosia range. Just a small amount of retail therapy at the weekend. Card - Cream Glitter Card & some dotty card. I think its the bazzill range. Image - Crafty Individuals Flower Stamps. Stamped on to card that had been coloured using distress inks and spritzed with cosmic shimmer. Embellishments - Skeleton leaves, White roses (coloured), grosgrain ribbon bow, nestability oval. Hot foil wizard for the sentiment. Below is a voucher wallet I have made but it's too late for the Truly Scrumptious Challenge 14 - Make anything but a card. Oh well better late than never. I have used K& Co paper, a paper punch and embellished with roses. This will be perfect for the vouchers the team have purchased for the present. Thanks for looking. Jenny
