EAC No. 161 - To A Special Person

Well it seems as though our challenge of making a stepped card over at Everybody Art Challenge proved too difficult for some, so this week we have come up with a simple theme of "Pink & Brown".

I have used last weeks sketch from Magnolia Down Under and combined it with a beautiful image from Lili of the Valley.
The image is coloured with Copics: Skin E000, E00, E21, R20 - E31,E43,E71 - R000, RV02,R85
I've added stickles to the skirt and circle edge along with liquid pearls.
The paper is Papermania Rose Garden & First Edition Sweet Owl.
Embellishments: Flowers, metal picture frame, ribbon & tag.

EAC No. 160 - A Birthday Surprise

Happy Tuesday people.

This week over at Everybody Art Challenge our theme is stepped cards.

For my creation I have made a 40th birthday card for a male

I found these excellent digi images as a set by Nicecrane Designs and they only cost me £1 for 6 different designs.

I've used Copics to colour the ladies and then cut them out and mounted them with sticky pads.

The paper is from My Minds Eye and I've distressed the edges with scissors to make it more masculine

The sentiment has been made using alphabet stickers and a spellbinders oval die.

Fleur Picking Flowers

Well the weather has definitely changed in the UK, the trees have changed colour and the blustery winds have started. To try and hang on to Summer, the theme over at Everybody Art Challenge is Flowers.
I have made a side step swing card using the instructions over at Paper Papillon it took two attempts using copy paper to work out how to do it and to be honest it did take a lot of time so it won't be a shape used too often.

EAC No. 160 - Autumn Colours

It's Tuesday and one again we have an excellent challenge for you over at Everybody Art Challenge. This week we would like to see your "Autumnal" creations.

I have made an easel card using the cute Cocker Spaniel Pup digi stamp from JustInklined.

I've used Prisma Pencils to colour the image and distress inks around the edge before fraying the edges with scissors.

I've used paper that I have had for some time, its by Pine Cone Press. The leaves are from a SpellBinders die cut from pearlescent and Basic Grey papers. The pumpkin is a button.
