Autumnal Wedding - Hanglar & Stanglar - Multiple Challenges
I have created this card for a wedding coming up in November. The brief was to create an elegant card large enough for many people to sign, using a cute stamped
image.
I wasn't given a colour scheme so decided to go with autumnal which fits in to this weeks challenge over at Everybody-art-challenge.blogspot.com. I knew the image would look great coloured in shades of brown and cream and layered with gold mirri and copper stardream paper.
I love to use punches on my cards. The one used is from Craft Habitat. It's perfect for adding elegance to a design and has made the flower look very delicate. It also enables me to join in with this weeks challenge over at Daring Card Makers - Getting punchy with it.
This week over at Simon Says Stamps Challenge blogspot the theme is all that sparkles. To get some sparkle into my design, besides using gold mirri card, I have used a metallic edge satin ribbon and edged a tag with gold foil. The image has a few dots of stickles on it. Finally to bring it all together I have used last weeks sketch over at Friday Sketchers Challenge Blog.

A Rae of Sunshine - DP2 Challenge No. 1
I have made this card for a colleague to give her Daughter for her birthday and the brief was purple. I decided to use "Rae" a digital creation by Mo's Digital Pencil Too and enter it in Mo's new blog over at Mo's Digital Challenge. It's the first challenge and the theme is to use purple and any of Mo's digital designs. I purchased this design and a few others a little while ago but haven't had chance to use it until now. It is a beautiful design and a dream to colour.
I have used an excellent sketch over at Just Magnolia Challenge Blog created by Mina, but for obvious reasons will not be able to enter the challenge.
To make the card I have used:
Card/Paper - 6x6" White Card, purple Bazzill card, Basic Grey euphoria paper 6x6 pad
Image - Rae - Mo's Digital Pencil Too
butterfly - Foam stamp (QVC)
Embellishments - Paper Roses (local craft shop)

Shabby Princess
This weeks card is another birthday card for a work colleague who loves green and handbags. I have used last weeks sketch over at Midnight Madness and had intended of entering it into the challenge but missed it because I didn't have time to do any blogging. Everything about this card was a challenge for me. I couldn't get the sketch to look how I wanted it to even though it should have been easy. I coloured the image in easy enough using my copics only to find I didn't have any green patterned papers that would match. Luckily, after trawling the internet I came across some free papers on the Shabby Princess website that were perfect. Check out the website here as there are lots of freebie papers besides paper kits to buy. You just download and print. I cut out square frames to cover over each pattern and went dotty using stickles green. It's finished off with a flower, ribbon and a handbag charm.
Items Used:
Papers/Card - Bazzill lime green & black, Shabby Princess kiwi kit
Stamp - Manga Girl from Funky Kits
Copics - YG11, G07, G14,G17, C1,C5 & C7
Ink - Impress Chartreuse & Distress inks Weathered Wood Stickles - Eucalyptus
Hope you like the card and thanks for taking the time to look.
Jenny
