Here is this weeks creation for the Everybody Art Challenge. The theme is to use your favourite colour combo, mine is red, gold and brown. I am lucky to work with very talented crafters over at Everybody Art Challenge, please check out their blogs by clicking on the names on my sidebar.
This is my 2nd easel card. I created this just before Christmas for a friend to give her Mother on Christmas Day for her birthday. The request was to have something with buttons and stitching! As mentioned before on my blog, I hate sewing because it always goes wrong. With fear I set up my sewing machine and had a quick practice on a scrap piece of paper and hey presto, it didn't jam up! I took the plunge and sewed away and actually enjoyed it. It would have been a different story if I had ruined the beautiful papers. To make this card I have used:Paper - Basic Grey - WassailCard - Brown Bazzill & Gold MirriCopics - E000, E00, E08, E11, E47, R11, R27, R46, R59, C1, W1, YG11, YG63, G99Image - Gorjuss Girl with FoxEmbellishments - Flowers, leaves and buttons. Thanks for looking.Jenny
My name is Jenny and I live in Oxfordshire. I am addicted to crafting and craft shopping and partake of this when not working full time. I mainly dabble in card making and like to try different techniques. My favourite colouring mediums are Copics and Prisma Pencils.
I love to look at pretty paper and card and not use it, although I am getting better!
I am on the design team for Everybody Art Challenge and have been for a number of years. In 2011 I joined the Papertake Weekly team working along side very talented ladies.
