EAC No. 97 - Speeding Past 59!

Hi Everyone
As the year goes on I am getting less and less free time to spend surfing craft blogs and very little time to make cards. My work is requiring long hours and weekends but I am hoping this will stop soon. Although I love paper and craft items on an evening I am so tired that I can't drag myself to my craft room.
This week over at Everybody Art Challenge the theme is to make a Birthday Card. I have chosen to make a male card because I had an order from a customer requesting a card for her Dad's 60th birthday. I was told he loves Harley Davidson motorbikes. Not quite a Harley but perfect all the same.
The backing paper is recycled wrapping paper, inked and stitched around the edge. The green paper is from K&Co Amy Butler Belle. Finally some corrugated card and string. The image is coloured with Copics and some liquid pearls for the studs. The dream tag is from Tim Holtz and the string from my ever growing ribbons and things.
Thanks for looking and enjoy the week.

EAC No.96 - Just for You

This week over at Everybody Art Challenge the theme is Pink & Green.
To make my card I have used some beautiful paper from the Basic Grey Porcelain pad together with a very cute "Ketto" image from Stamping Bella.
I coloured the image with copics, cut her out and mounted the image on to pink paper and white card that I have edged with ink.
I have used a Martha Stewart punch for the doily edge and again on the flower. The butterflies from from a punch, edged with ink and finished with pearls. Ribbon, buttons and sequins to finish.
Have a wonderful week and happy crafting.

EAC. No.95 - Vintage Beauty

This week over at Everybody Art Challenge we have an excellent sketch for you to follow. I have created a vintage card for a work colleague who will be leaving the team at the end of the month. The image I found on the web - Maries Freebies. The paper has flowers and butterflies on it but it is so pale my camera didn't pick it up. I've embellished with flowers, ribbon and pearls.
Thanks for looking and have a good week.

EAC No.94 -

Today over at Everybody Art Challenge the theme is things with wings. This week there is no colouring of digital stamps instead I have used the "Birds & Branches" Sizzlits Die and kept the card nice and simple.
The backing paper is from the Papermania Rose Garden range, distressed with ink and scissors, layered onto green card and stitched (very rough) around the edge.
I have added stickles glue to the birds wings, around the edge of the topper and on the branch leaves. Embellished with a ribbon bow.
Have a great week and hope you can join in this weeks challenge.

EAC No.93 - Summer

Its Tuesday again and another challenge from Everybody Art. This week the theme is Summer.
I have made my card for my Nephew, its his birthday in a few weeks so I am ahead of time for a change. The image is a digital stamp purchased from Digitalpenciltoo and its one from the big guy range.
I have coloured him using copics and the background clouds with distress inks.
I have layered K&Co and Basic Grey paper on yellow card and Spearmint bazill card.
The embellishments are brads, gems and best wishes ribbon.
Thanks for looking and happy crafting.
