The weather is still really bad here in Oxforshire so lucky for me I have managed to fit in a day of crafting. I have made this card to enter into the Sketch Saturday Challenge. It's a great sketch and everything came together really quickly. I am also going to enter it into the Creative Inspirations challenge which is sparkle.
I have used My Minds Eye Signature Christmas papers. I just love the colours in this book and some of the papers can be used for everyday cards. The image was part of a freebie set of stamps in a magazine. The image is quite small so to fit in with the sketch I distressed some of the backing paper and coloured the edges. I have used glitter glue for the snow although it may not be apparent at first glance.I created the sentiment in Word and cut it out using Nestabilities Label 1.The holly is a stamp and I have coloured it using Copics. Finally the trees are die cuts that I had in the drawer and I have used stickles for the snow.I can't remember the copics I used because stupidly I put them away in an attempt to tidy my work area only to realise I hadn't made a note of them. Thanks for taking the time to view my artwork. Please leave a comment if you have time as I love to read your comments, good or bad!Jenny
My name is Jenny and I live in Oxfordshire. I am addicted to crafting and craft shopping and partake of this when not working full time. I mainly dabble in card making and like to try different techniques. My favourite colouring mediums are Copics and Prisma Pencils.
I love to look at pretty paper and card and not use it, although I am getting better!
I am on the design team for Everybody Art Challenge and have been for a number of years. In 2011 I joined the Papertake Weekly team working along side very talented ladies.
