What Every Man Wants!
This weeks theme over at Everybody Art Challenge is Valentine. I haven't used the word Valentine on my design because I thought it could also be used for an Anniversary card. If my other half forgets I can hold on to it until later in the year!
I know some people do not like digital stamps but I love them. I think it gives artists a way of sharing their amazing talent without the expense of trying to get rubber stamps created. It also saves me space and gives me the diversity of printing the image in any size I choose.
The little beauty on my card is called "Sexy Lady - Big Heart" and can be found at Sassy Studio Designs (Click Here). Please check out their designs as they have a wide range of images that will suit many occasions. Their latest creations are based on the characters of Alice in Wonderland in time for the new 3d film that will hit the UK in the very near future (no I'm not on commission I just like the designs!).
So without further delay here is my card.
I have been holding onto a gorgeous pad of flocked paper for many weeks now knowing I would use it for this card. It's called La Creme stack by DCWV and retails for around £14.99 for 48 pages 8"x 8". Pricey but well worth it.
The bow was made using the material that a pack of onions come in when purchased at the supermarket. I come across it a few weeks ago and just knew I could put it to good use!
The heart buttons are from my local craft store but made by Trimits paper crafts.
The flowers are various sizes of roses and coloured with ink and cosmic shimmer.
The sentiments I printed off the computer and edged with antique linen distress inks.
The larger hearts were created using a spellbinders die and a rubber stamp that looks like a patchwork heart (sorry, no name on the stamp). I have used platinum stickles on the dotty backing paper although not easy to see and black stickles glue on the shoes.
As always the image has been coloured with copics and edged with antique linen distress inks.
There are so many great challenges this week with the Valentine/Hearts theme I am going to enter this card and hope I'm lucky.
