Papertake Weekly - An 80th Birthday Wish

I'm back again for this weeks sketch challenge over at
Papertake Weekly and to help us we are sponsored by
Simon Says Stamp.

Recently I bought myself a set of the grand nestabilities labels 4 and have used them today to make an upright easel card. I've made this for a commission and the brief was floral, tartan, thistles, Mum and 80. I chose the image because the person that will receive the card has always had Border Collies.

Materials Used:
Base card - linen card distressed with Antique Linen
Paper - Lost & Found by Jen Wilson
Image - Border Collie digital stamp by Just InkLined. Coloured using Prisma Pencils.
Dies - Spellbinder Grand Labels 4, Martha Stewart Flower punch
Embellishments - Tartan ribbon, Thistles, Roses and Cherry Blossom and pearls.
Sentiment - Printed from the computer onto kraft card
At the moment I have left the inside blank but may find a suitable verse.

Thanks for stopping by today and keep crafting.

EAC - A Sketch Using Lili of the Valley Stamp

Happy Tuesday crafters.
It's another challenge from Everybody Art Challenge and this week we have a simple sketch for you to follow. Be sure to check out my fellow DT buddies for more inspiration.

Time seems to be at a premium at the moment and I don't seem to have much time to blog, craft or think up anything interesting to say.

I don't really like this card because I am definitely a lots of layers kind of girl. It just feels unfinished to me.

Materials Used:
Bazzill lavendar card for the base.
Paper from Jelly Bean
Stamp from Prima stamped on the yellow card
Image from Lili of the Valley
Copics - YG11, YG03, G21, E31, E47, E35, E53, W1,W3,W5
Embellishments - Memory Box die, Prima Flowers

Thanks for stopping by today.
