Twisted Easel - Stamping Bella Bettina Buttercream

With the weekend fast approaching I thought I would share with you a twisted easel card that I have made for any occasion or as the sentiment states "just because". I don't know about you but I never need an occasion to eat cake, especially a yummy chocolate cake with buttercream and cherries on the top as is shown in this cute image by Stamping Bella. If you would like this stamp it can be purchased from Wendy at Stamps & Memories. Click here to go to the website.
Here is the open card in all its twisted glory
Finally a close up of Bettina Buttercream Materials used:
Base card - Core-dinations Tim Holtz Distress Collection - Antique Linen
Lightly sanded so that the creamy core shows through
Backing Paper/Card - Hammer card embossed using Tim Holtz Alterations Regal Flourishes folder I aged the card using Antique Linen distress ink and Walnut stain around the edge. Both were applied with Cut & Dry foam (you can purchase this from Stamps and Memories)
Paper - Pink Petticoat Vintage Rose Collection
The edges have been inked with Antique Linen and then stitched before mounting onto more core-dinations card
Band/ Ribbon & Lace - The band has been made from Hammer card, punched with a Martha Stewart punch, distressed with Antique Linen & Walnut Stain. A satin pink ribbon was added and white lace.
